In accordance with the policies of the Archdiocese of Baltimore, all adult parish volunteers ministering and serving others in our parish and school community must register online through VIRTUS, the Archdiocesan child protection management system.

All VIRTUS accounts and training are completed online.

Volunteer roles are registered into two categories:   Substantial and Non-Substantial Contact with Children.

Here are some examples of volunteers required to
complete "substantial contact with children" registration:

• All leaders of ministry groups
• All leaders of Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, and Lectors
• Flower Brigade
• School volunteers
• All musicians and cantors
• All members of ministry groups involving children
• Anyone driving on behalf of the parish
• Youth Ministry, Faith Formation, and RCIA Catechists
